Everyone was on island time. The morning unfolded slowly, with the couple getting ready in small ocean view cottages. When I arrived, Sofia was still writing her vows while Nico relaxed nearby, letting the day arrive at it’s own pace. The ceremony moved easily between tears and laughter before everyone gathered for dinner and toasts. The celebration found its way to the beach, where a bonfire was lit, tequila was passed around, and no one seemed in any hurry to leave.
